Name: Elannia Eris Worthington
Prefers: Elanie ll Elles
Age: {Looks} Seventeen ;; {Actually} Hundred && Seven
Gender: Female
Appearance:
Elanie certainly seemed to have received the looks in which her family was quite known for. Elanie inherited her mother's light hair. A shade of gold, in direct sunlight, it seems to glitter. Elanie hates the fact that it's always so straight and perfect. It's glossy and cut right above the halfway point on her back. She usually wears her hair down as if to cover her face from the world. If not, it's usually tied up in a half ponytail. It's very rare for her hair to be tied up completely in some fashion. She has the annoying habit of putting her hair behind her ears and twirling it.
From her father, Elanie received her fair coloring. Sometimes thought as abnormally pale, her complexion is very light. An almost translucent shade of peach. Usually, she emanates a glow in the moonlight. She also received her mother's petite size. Elanie's rather small for her age standing at 5"4. Many heads tower over her when she walks in a crowd. Yet, she doesn't disappear. She walks with her head up high and shoulders back, acting like she owns the room. This makes her the one everyone wants to look at. It's as if she's in a magnetic field with her being the core.
The Worthington's, have always been known for their odd eye coloring. Almost three centuries ago, one of Elanie's grandfather's married someone with the exact, distinct shade. From then - it was if a union of two exact eye colored people in the past, ensured that their heirs would not get this trademark. That is, until now. Elanie, had been the winner of a genetic lottery. Her eyes are the most striking feature on her face. They a mocking, deep violet coloring naturally, with a hint of red - they're intense and look as if they could burn a hole right through steel, they tend to light up when she's either very mad or very happy. They're surrounded by dark lashes and are rather big. Though she doesn't need much make-up, they're usually surrounded with black kohl to make them pop out even more.
She has highly refined features that make her look of importance. Her back is always straight for she was taught that if you showed no fear, you will be feared. Which she definitely is by many people. She has a devious smile and has a charming attitude that makes her one of them, yet special in her own way. She's thin, yet not in a way that makes her look disgusting. And most of her friends tease her about her feet, which had very small. "Fairy Feet" they call them. She has rosy red lips that only need clear gloss to top it off. And her high cheekbones turn and elegant shade of pink when embarrassed. To sum it all up, Elanie gives off the air of perfection, which she aims for.
Personality: Elanie, has a heart of ice.... She doesn't care if you're "important" or whatever else, but how she first sees you as, is going to leave an imprint in her mind forever. You can never erase it - even if you desperately want to. She isn't quick to judge, but sometimes, you think she has a magical eye that can noticed everything that most people don't. She sees flaws quickly for they are the first things that stand out when you see a person for the first time. Some people say she's difficult and can't understand anything she says for she speaks with wisdom beyond her age at times. Yet others say she's too shallow, acting dumb and ditzy. Elanie isn't the nicest girl. Even though she holds charisma that makes even her worse enemies like her from time to time. Maybe its the way that she can be downright rude to someone, all cold, yet... still be charming in that little way of hers. or it might be the way she twirls her hair all the time or how she twirls around in circles when no one's around.
The first impression you'll get from Elanie depends on what mood she's in, or where you are. In any situation, you'll noticed closely that though she looks in complete control - a small smile at her lips, hair perfect, her clothes always crisp, a faint smell of apple blossoms - her intense dark violet eyes are somewhat dead. Flat, no twinkle, plain, pleading. Pleading for help to escape from what everyone expects of her..... But then you might catch her alone with a couple of the people she actually considers friends and you'll the looks to all her friends, the smirks, - her eyes cold with... with what? Hatred? Pity? Both? Then you get the attitude from her, making you easily think that she's just another snobby teenage who thinks she's better than everyone - even her friends.
Elanie, in short terms as most people describe her, is a rude and arrogant, vain young lady. She follows her own rules and does what she pleased, whenever she pleases. If she wants something, she goes after it and usually gets it. When in school, she smiles so much that the teachers trust her, thinking she's just the sweetest little doll. Which she is sometimes.... just not most of the time. She's not. She thinks she deserves the best and snaps at anyone who's not willing to step aside for her. Rumors start like a wild fire from her and secretly, everyone hates her. They think she's stuck up. But you won't catch them saying that to her face. Saying something rude and getting on Anna's bad side is more like sentencing you to a death sentence. She's stomp you down and ruin your life... do not get caught up in Elanie's wrath.
She's rebellious by nature. Trying to bind her in ropes is useless, she'll always find a way to dodge something. She hates it when she's forced to do something and it takes the life out of her to do it. She's very flirty and usually can make the most loyal guys be tempted. She also has that annoying habit of throwing her head back and tugging on a locket that hangs around her neck. She's daunting and her eyes always seem to be daring you to come closer. Mood swinger, defines Isabella so much. One second she can be throwing books at you, the next, hugging you. She can fool you with her sweet looks and nature... even when she's sick, she's still perfect. But after 107 years of being perfect, wouldn't you start getting bored with it? And that's exactly what Elanie is starting to do. She wants to be different so bad, but she isn't ready to be different. She'll never be ready.
After 107 years, you kind of tend to look at the world a bit differently. She never sees anything as an end, for that'll be the one thing she'll never see. The end.... Unless she does something completely stupid and run off to the Volturi or anger the werewolves... She isn't exactly immune to the smell of human blood yet. Half the time, when she hasn't hunted for over a week, she'll long for the taste of blood.... I mean, just a little won't hurt anyone, right? But she tends to lose control over time and every second she's like that, you definitely won't like her.
However perfect you think she is, she's not. I promise you that.

History:
Born in London, England in the year 1900, life was a breeze for this girl. Her parents, both of royal blood, gave her everything she desired, maybe even more..... But in the end, Elannia was taken care of, just as well as anyone else of her status and prestige. She had a little brown pony, a little dog and a cat, and the most... sometimes loving parents anyone could ever wish for. Even though they did pass her onto the care of nannies, caretakers and tutors. Elannia rarely saw them since both were busy half the time, leaving Elannia to learn how to worry about herself - and only herself.
Yet maybe this independence thing was a good idea, since when Elannia turned thirteen, her father came down with pneumonia and since it hit him so fast and hard, even a healthy man as himself couldn't fight the battle long enough to survive. He was pronounced dead in three days time. Her mother was devastated and couldn't help herself. She was in misery and though Elannia too was sad, she couldn't feel the pain it caused her mother. Her father rarely visited her, like her mother, and she only saw them on Sunday's for church and tea. Even though, she was pushed into mourning dresses and had to spend the next 6 months of her life mourning for a father she never really knew.
After a year, it seemed to calm down a little. Finally, Elannia was finally allowed back in her normal dresses, which made her happier. But when she turned fourteen, her mother had come to a decision. She was going to marry off Elannia to the more suitable bachelor in the next two years. Once again Elannia was a complete mess. Her mother feared that since her father died, they wouldn't have a steady income, and marrying Elannia off to the first person they could fine was the quickest thing to do and besides, her mother wasn't going to allow for Elannia to become a nun and never get married. Over the course of the next year, her mother marched her to meet some guy or another. Half of them were far too old for her, though considerably wealthy. The other half? Too self-confident for Elanie's liking. When she saw that she wasn't going to like any of them, she gave them attitude her mother punished her for later. No guy ever wanted to marry a feisty teenage girl.
When she turned fifteen, her mother, came down with the thing that hit her father. Though she got it much, much worse. Elannia was the one to tend to her, sort of becoming attached to her mother since they had been together alone for almost two years. Soon, her mother recovered, and was well enough to go on yet another hunt for the perfect man for her daughter. She was still weak, since, like Elannia, hated being in bed for so long. She got up the moment she could, not really worrying whether or not she was healed enough. This was an extremely bad idea since two months before Elanie turned sixteen, her mother came down with the Spanish influenza - the strand before the huge epidemic and was hitting all the weaker ones around the world. And one the eve of her sixteenth birthday, Elannia, was parentless.
Her mother's will stated that every single cent of her inheritance along with her father's was to go to Elanie. This, was was grateful for. But it also stated that she shan't be allowed to even look at the money until she turned of age - in two years. It also kindly reminded Elanie to get married as soon as she could. Her grandparents whom she had been sent to - had different ideas. They sent her to a boarding school since even though she was lady like, it wasn't enough to their liking. Elanie's life was hell in the boarding school. She hated everything about it. And worse, the headmistress kept on trying to take the place of her mother by trying to find her a good husband. Saying that it was the last thing she could do for her 'poor' mother. She refused every single one of them since now, she was richer than any of them, and became moody. She snuck out alot and so forth, not getting caught. No, she was too quick and sly for that.
And it wasn't just for the feeling of recklessness she snuck out.... no, it was more than that. Elannia had reasons other than one that she kept refusing suitors. For she, was completely in love. The man was two years older than her, and extremely good looking. Tall with black hair and reddish eyes.... she'd never seen anything quite so beautiful in her life. She had met him one day while she was running away and bumped into him at a marketplace. Now, she was getting talked into eloping with him, somewhere far, far away. William Edwards was his name... and now, even the mere mention of him brings shivers to Elannia.
On the eve of her eighteenth birthday, of course she went out to meet him under the bridge as she did every other day. But this time, she found something odd about him. His eyes were black with a look that she thought thirsted for something. He was looked evil, wilder.... more handsome than she ever though. Which was why she had no objection to him coming closer and closer, before it was too late. She was easy prey to him when he got hungry and of course, since he was a vampire - he was ready to kill her. But as soon as his teeth were inside of her, something kicked inside of him and he stopped. Leaving Elannie shocked, on the ground, screaming in pain. He left her there like that, never, ever, having the confidence to finish her off.
She was there for a week. Starving, dehydrated.... but the pain she felt was keeping her from going insane. Soon, she was forced to come out of her nut shell... though she barely remembered anything about her past life. She wandered the streets of London, until she too, felt the hungry, the thirst for blood call to her. That, was when she attacked. A weak, helpless little girl who looked not more of seven, but she seemed to come out of her trance when she was finished. Looking at the mangled corpse on the ground then to herself, she felt a sickened feeling clench inside of her, and she ran. Faster than she ever did before. She hid away in a cave for a year, trying to get rid of these horrible thoughts.
She had heard stories of vampires and everything, but to become one? That was insane.... so she headed to where all the folklore led - to Volterra. For an odd reason, she managed to get accepted into their guard. She wasn't domesticated, and they would teach her how to be. Yet though her powers were of few and as strong as them, she could often hear things from long, long distances. Everything from their thoughts to the words that they were uttering. It was as if she had a radio and could control what she wanted to listen to. As time grew on, she became a tracker, leaving the Volturi after something happened....
By then, she was used to the scent of human blood. Even though she still longed for it, it wasn't something she completely needed. She could survive off animals for a time being. By then, she had already been a vampire for ninety years. She heard of some vampires trying to live life as humans nevertheless. And so, she headed to Alaska to join their family for a while. Yet it never really suited Elanie well. She had grown up being independent and being so was how she planned to be for a long time. Which meant after three years of this, she quit and was once alone again. They had told her about another family such as theirs.... the Cullens. But she wasn't going to go join them.... she was happy to be alone. But her curiosity mounted just enough for her to go to Forks of all the places in the world.
Though she's not on..... best friend relations with anyone at Forks. They all know that there's another vampire on their turf. A rather.... friendly one who can control her thirst for humans almost as well as them. But with this werewolf/vampire war. Elannia's sort of edging towards returning to the Volturi. They taught her well and supplied her with human blood.... But once again, her stubbornness keeps her here. She isn't going to change for a long time. She got an apartment in Forks, and is now passing as a Senior Student at the high school.... Pretending to be something Elanie despises.

Pretending? We've all done it before, one time or another. But for the students at Sapphire Academy of Magic, it's life.
The top three magic schools in Europe are: Hogwarts, Durmstrang and Beauxbatons. Yet, they are rivaled by the small schools scattered across Europe. Though they have fewer people, they teach the same stuff and bonus, may have a wider choice of classes to choose from. Sapphire Academy of Magic, is one of those small, private schools.
It may shock those who don't know that many wizards have chosen to live life to the fullest. powerful in both wizarding and muggle worlds. some of the people you pass off as muggles may be of magic lineage. Nestled in the hills of Ireland, Sapphire is home to many powerful, wizarding family heirs. One of the most prestigious magical boarding schools in the world, only children from the most elite families pass through the iron gates. Those few students who've earned scholarships to Sapphire, feel left out in all the wealth that surround them.
Sapphire was formed in the early 1700's when Matthew Edwards was sentenced to death for wizardry in the United States. Deciding to escape from the place where only death was his fate, He stole a boat after breaking out of prison. Setting sail across the Atlantic, landing in Ireland after months of travels. He traveled around for a bit then went to London , England. Meeting more witches and wizards along the way. He lived the rest of his life there but the days before his death, headed back to the place that had changed his life. He put money into a school that would surround the area and Sapphire Academy was born. And ever since Matthew, the Edwards have led the school.
At first glance, the sprawling lawns, iron gates, the huge mansion, preppy kids in grey and navy blue, Sapphire may seem imposing and it is, really. It takes alot to be accepted by those who mattered. everyone seems to be so forbidding, prideful and powerful. but no matter how wealthy and perfect these spoiled kids seem, they're just like you and me.
